ASHLAND, OH - At about 4:00 AM Wednesday morning burglars broke into Bohland Jewelers in Ashland and stole jewelry from several cases in the store.

According to a report, one of the front windows of the Claremont Avenue location was broken and this is how the thief gained entry. The same report describes two males, one white and one black, exiting the store with black drawstring Nike bags and heading west.

At this time there is not an estimate of the value of the items stolen. However, representatives of Bohland Jewelers have made it clear that all of their customers' jewelry was locked away and remains safe. The store is already open for business.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Ashland Police Department responded to the scene. The case remains under investigation. Check back for more updates.
