MANSFIELD, OH- Artful Impressions Tattoo and Piercing held a Suicide Prevention Fundraiser on Saturday.

All of the proceeds from the event went to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) according to Tattoo Artist and Event Organizer, Emmah Hostetter.

"Pretty much all of us here at the shop have been affected by suicide," Hostetter said.  "You know depression and all that stuff, we all go through it.  I just wanted to create an event that kind of brought people together and raised money for charity."

The fundraiser brought out so many patrons that a large line formed outside of the shop.

"I just kind of posted it on Facebook one day and I wasn't expecting this big of a turnout but there are people lined up way out there.  The post got over 300 shares," Hostetter said.

Hostetter plans to continue organizing charity events at the shop.  She is thankful to the community for their incredible support of the event.

"Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this," Hostetter said.  "It means a lot to me.  It means a lot to all of us."
