MANSFIELD - A 12-year-old baker is making delicious treats and turning heads all around Mansfield.

Khmani Howell, a student at Malabar Intermediate, has spent the last few months using his hobby - baked goods - to launch a business. That business, Duda's Desserts, was just awarded $960 by the Young Entrepreneur Academy investor panel and has begun operation, selling all types of sweets to friends, family and more.

Khmani's business offers all types of baked goods, from fudges and brownies to cupcakes and cookies. With various flavors, there is something available for the most dedicated of chocolate fiends or the caramel addict in your life, all at affordable prices. Khmani says his favorite is his Red Velvet cupcake.

Ashley, Khmani's mother, couldn't be more proud of his work so far. "He's been honestly blowing me away with what he's doing," Howell said Monday, sporting a Duda's Desserts T-shirt she had made. "Just how dedicated.. He's encouraging to me as his mother."

Some of the menu selections available to order from Khmani include Chocolate Signature Swirl cupcakes, Reese's Brownies, Peanut Butter Mini Pies, Salted Caramel Fudge, and season options like a Carrot Cake Cupcake, just to name a few.
