Richland County Planning Commission To Apply For Grant Funds

RICHLAND COUNTY, OH - On March 28th, the Richland County Regional Planning Commission will participate in a public hearing at the Office of the Richland County Commissioners to apply for the state-funded Community Development Block Grant.

According to the Regional Planning Commission, Richland County is eligible for a two-year grant for $250,000.

The grant program is intended to fund "a broad range of activities" that includes downtown revitalization efforts such as economic development projects, demolition of unsafe structures, and rehabilitation of housing, as well as local infrastructures such as street, water supply, drainage, and sanitary sewer improvements.
