Monroe Township Fire Department Responds To Fire On OH 603

LUCAS, OH - Monroe Township Firefighters responded to a residence after calls of a fire on OH 603 around 6:00 PM Tuesday evening.

The Perrysville Fire Department also responded to the scene where a storage building had caught fire. The flames were quickly extinguished. Some farming equipment and recreational vehicles were destroyed, but no one was seriously injured. It is still unknown what may have caused the fire or how much damage was caused to the structure; more information will be provided as it becomes available.

    The Richland County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday that the Crestview Schools Board of Education and the Sheriff's Office entered into an agreement to provide a full-time school resource officer to the Crestview School District for the 2019- 2020 school year.
