MANSFIELD, OH - In honor of May being Mental Health Awareness Month, Catalyst Life Services hosted a Kids' Carnival for children and their families Wednesday afternoon.

Featuring a bouncy house, a live DJ, food, games, and more, the Kids' Carnival served as a fun way to familiarize children with Catalysts' facilities, staff, and services.

"We have games, we have snow cones, hot dogs - it's just kind of a chance for the community to come and see what we're all about and help break the stigma of mental health and have some fun," said Jamie Starkey, Case Management Coordinator for Catalyst Life Services. "This is our children's department, so this is where they get their services. So our hope is they can come in, they can see what our building looks like, they can meet the staff, just kind of to be able to have fun and relax."

This event is one in a long series that will be held throughout May in honor of Mental Health Awareness month. A full list of events and activities is available here.
