Senior Spring Spectacular Packs The Renaissance Theatre

MANSFIELD, OH - The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging's Senior Spring Spectacular was held on Tuesday, gathering hundreds of people to watch the various acts that took place on-stage at the Renaissance Theatre. The program has been held annually in recognition of Older Americans Month, which recognizes the achievements and contributions of older adults across the United States.

"We have been holding this event over 20 years," said Teresa Cook, Vice President of Marketing and Developing for the Area Agency on Aging. "It is growing every year. We had over 400 adults in the theatre. The Ren is packed, and that's what we want. We've invited everyone in to celebrate aging and to celebrate being with friends, to have some entertainment, take some snacks home with them, but at the end of the day - it's a success when everyone leaves and they have a smile on their face. No matter what our age, we all want to have some fun."
