BLOOMING GROVE TOWNSHIP, OH - One man succumbed to his injuries Friday after a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred on State Route 13 on Wednesday.

The crash occurred around 8:54 AM Wednesday on State Route 13, at the intersection of Lattimer Road in Blooming Grove Township.

A horse-drawn carriage driven by 67-year-old Ammond Troyer of Shiloh, Ohio was westbound on Lattimer Road as a semi-truck driven by 53-year-old Bradley Weiser was southbound on State Route 13.

Troyer and the horse-drawn carriage failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection and was struck by the semi, sending the buggy off the left side of the road. Troyer and the other two occupants were ejected from the vehicle, with Troyer sustaining life-threatening injuries. Troyer passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital at 11 AM Friday morning. The two juvenile occupants of the vehicle were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi was unharmed.

The crash remains under investigation.
