12 Year Old Passenger Survives Deadly Motorcycle Accident

MANSFIELD, OH- More information has become available following the fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on Park Avenue West Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred at approximately 4:45 PM between Bartley Avenue and Baldwin Avenue on Park Avenue.

30-year-old Brandon Polak and a 12-year-old passenger were ejected from a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle after striking the driver's side of a Ford F550 landscaping truck that had been attempting to turn left onto Park Avenue West.

The driver of the truck, 23-year-old William Mumea, and 18-year-old passenger Logan Dauch, were uninjured. Polak, however, was declared deceased at the scene. The 12-year-old passenger was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Mansfield Police Department is still investigating the accident. No charges have been filed at this time.
