LEXINGTON, OH - Local residents gathered in Lexington to show their patriotic spirit on this 4th of July holiday.

V.F.W. Post 5101 in Lexington held their annual Pastoral in the Park on Thursday, with a parade forming at Western Elementary and ending at Lexington's Bicentennial Park.

Emergency response vehicles, special parade floats, and local officials took part in the parade as they helped spread the holiday cheer.

Residents lined up the parade route with lawn chairs and more as they watched the parade.

Live music was provided by the AFM Local 159 Concert Band.

Contests were also held to find out who had the best spirit wear or decorated bike at the event.

All contests were sponsored by Directions Credit Union.
