Morning Fire Kills Three Children In Jeromesville

JEROMESVILLE, OH - Three children have died after a house fire occurred Monday morning in Jeromesville. 

The fire occurred at 234 Township Road 1550 at 12:45 AM Monday.  A cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but is believed to have started at the front porch of the home.

The Ashland County Coroner was called to the scene, along with the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office. 

12-year-old Faithlyn Bogavich, her 4-year-old sister Delaney, and their one-year-old brother John Jeffrey, all died in the fire.

John Bogavich and Mindy Speicher, the parents of Delaney and Johhn Jeffrey, and 13-year-old Brayden Bogavich, all were taken to University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland with non-life-threatening injuries.

A host of area fire departments battled the fire, including the Jeromesville Fire Department, Polk-Jackson-Perry, Hayesville-Vermillion, Nankin, Ashland, and New Pittsburg fire departments.
